Tsomgo Lake


Tsomgo Lake is a stunning lake surrounded by hills also knows as Changu Lake. The lake located 38 km from Gangtok. Lake Boast of calm nature, lofty hills offers the amazing outing for tourists. The Lake linked with many old myths. It is believed that Buddhist monks would study the color of the water of the lake to forecast the future. Visitors can enjoy their rides on multicolored yaks and mules available at the lakeside. Tourists can enjoy the snow from January to March and hills from October to November.



Yuksom tiny village famous for its natural breathtaking views. The ‘Yuksom” means the “meeting point of 3 lamas.” Yuksom surrounded by snow clad mountains, green landscapes and calmness would be best refreshing option from strenuous daily life. It’s the entrance p for Kanchenjunga National Park and thus frequently visited by the trekkers and mountaineers from all across the world. March to June and September to November is the best time to visit.



Lachen is a lovely hill station, an attractive tourist spot in North Sikkim. The name Lachen means “big pass”. Lachen is the starting point for some of the most interesting treks in North Sikkim as well as the gateway to the holy Guru Dongmar and Tso Lhamu lakes. Visitors would be fascinated by the panoramic view of the Himalayan Mountains command by Lachen. An annual yak race called Thangu takes place at Lachen every summer.

 Nathula Pass


Nathula Pass located at an altitude of 14,140 feet joins the Sikkim and China. Nathula flourishes as a hotspot for tourists during summer. Tourists would be enthralled by awesome waterfalls and snow covered peaks. Nathula Pass is only open for Indian visitors for 5 days a week including Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and closed on Monday & Tuesday for two days. March to October is an ideal time to visit.

Pemayangtse Monastery

 Pemayangtse Monastery is very divine place founded in the 17th century by Lhatsun Chempo one of the three lamas of Yuksom.  Pemayangtse means ‘perfect sublime lotus’ the monastery is dwelling place for the monks who are sworn to celibacy. On the top floor of the monastery, there is a wooden sculpture depicting the Maha Gurus Heavenly Palace “Sanghthokpalri” is the main attraction. It’s one of the old monasteries with the large collection of books. September to June is the best time to visit.



Ravangla is a town in South Sikkim located at an altitude of 7000 feet, flourishing as new tourist spot. Ravangla is an ideal destination for trekking and hiking. Ravangla stages the Pang Lhabsol festival in a grand manner every year around August-September. The festival last for three days, culminating in the traditional dances known as ‘Chaam’ on the last day. The stunning landscapes, pleasing tea gardens, ethnic culture, aged monasteries make it must visit spot.  The best time to visit Ravangla is during summer, from the month of March to May.



Namchi is one of the fastest growing tourist spot located 78 km from the Gangtok, World’s largest statue of Padmasambhava, the patron saint of Sikkim is a major attraction to see here. Apart from its diverse climate, rich and unique cultural heritage, it has more to explore. You can also visit the Sherdup Choeling Monastery and the Dichen Choeling monastery. March to June and October to November is the best time to visit this amazing place.
